Manikandan.P.K has more than 20 years of experience in the Industry. He began his career as Research executive in one of a leading Industrial Market Research Company and handled Market research assignments for various industries.
Thereafter, he switched into Information Technology domain and was involved in software programming of e-commerce portals, enterprise systems for textile, hotel and hospital industries.
He manages the entire operations at Chennai and is in charge of project management, Quality and delivery of all the projects. Dhiru Jani is 73 years old with a 12 years business management and 27 years IT practioner background.
Having qualified with BA in Education in the Republic of Kenya he migrated to the UK to take up a Banking role in Barclays Bank PLC where he stayed till his retirement at age 60. During his position in the Bank he transitioned from various business administration roles to an IT Project Management role experiencing rapid development of electronic Banking services. He is a 'subject matter expert' on Card issuance and payment processing within the UK Banking circle.
Dhiru has obtained awards in implementing leading technology payment services such as 'ATM reciprocity' where UK and European travelers holding VISA and MasterCard may use their cards globally for payments and cash withdrawals. He also managed the implementation of the CHIP and PIN card trials in the UK to combat the high volume of fraud occurrence that used 'skimming' practices by fraudsters. This has resulted in drastic reduction in fraudulent card transactions in the European sector.
After retirement from Barclays, Dhiru has taken up a position as a Director in AUMEC Ltd since 2010 where he has concentrated in building a PCI DSS standard compliant Payment Gateway that can be utilized by e-commerce merchants to process their card transactions in a secure and safe way. He also heads up the development arm for the AUMec Group where bespoke IT solutions are developed and implemented for small to medium sized e-commerce businesses in the UK and Europe.
Prakash Jani has been active in the e-commerce field for the last 27 years. He had 28 years career at Barclaycard credit card division of Barclays Bank, during which he held senior management positions in Sales and Marketing. He has been involved in all aspects of credit/debit card acquiring, technology and business and was panel member of smart card development in the U.K. He is proficient in the e-commerce field of B2C and B2B, and was Chief Executive Officer of AUM Electronic Commerce Ltd who specializes in the provision of credit card payment engines to retailers and blue chip companies. He has presented e-commerce strategies to the Banks in Dubai, Ireland, India etc and spoke at several seminars and conferences.
Over the past 8 years, he has been involved in projects with The Terre Initiative who worked under the auspices of The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, based in Geneva, who has a Real Estate Advisory Group (REAG) that is working with the transition economies of Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CEE & CIS) to help them develop their real estate markets.
He is a founder director of the International Real Estate Advisory Network Ltd (IntREAN) initiative. The Initiative is designed to use the extensive experience, knowledge and capabilities resident within the UK's property market to assist developing and transition economies to create their own markets. His recent work involved project management and setting up an International Forum in Ukraine on behalf of the UN Commission for Europe's Real Estate Advisory Group (UNECE REAG).
